Yes I do. You will be required to sign.
Do you provide sneak peeks?
Sometimes, I'm a wife, mom, and business owner there are times I have justenough time to get galleries out as efficiently as possible.
Is this your only job?
NO! I wish it could be full time and with blessings and time I pray it will be because I LOVE doing it! I'm just not quite there yet. First thing is first, I am a MOM. It's VERY rewarding and time consuming (*Fun Fact I normally edit while my little ones go to sleep. I feel like its a trend to be a night owl when your a mother/photographer )
Can I have the RAW photos?
NO. Please don't ask, it gets really uncomfortable telling people no. I hate seeing the discouraged look on my clients faces when I have to tell them I cant provide a service for them. I want you to trust me, you hired me cause you like my style my technique. TRUST ME to select the beautiful photos that will be album worthy. I will be doing the same thing for you as I do for my other clients.
Can we reschedule?
YES!! Rescheduling is totally ok just have a few guidelines :) I get it life happens. If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, clients may apply their session retainer to a future session with a hour notice of illness. Should client fail to give hours notice, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, this session retainer is forfeited and will not be refunded. But I WIlL reschedule our session due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond my control.
Reshoots and Refunds
Reshoots are determined at the discretion of me, the photographer. Reshoots and refunds will not be given for poor choices of clothing, makeup, hair or weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. I have a awesome recommendation for a stylist if you guys need one as well as hair and make up!
Do you have any specific requests?
The session starts at the agreed upon time. It is strongly encouraged that client arrives 15 minutes prior to the start of session. This allows for any last minute feeding, changing, and relaxing before session begins. *Please do not bring any children not being photographed to the session. Please make sure hair is combed and face is clean and free of runny
noses or eyes. Those pesky runny noses!
If your going to bring food to bribe with bring colorless treats ! little marshmallows are awesome and melt fast !
Will I get all my photos? What if I remember a photo but it wasn't in my gallery?
The final post production and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to the discretion of me, your photographer. If the image wasn't in your gallery it didn't make the cut because it wasn't up to my quality standard. Special request for altering images such as special editing and or special request can be done with a small fee of ($15.00 dollars per image) cause man it can take some serious time to edit these images.
preparing for your session
I love shooting neutral colors! I feel they're timeless. I always recommend neutrals.
WHAT NOT TO WEAR:
Try not to match or have everyone in the same outfit (with exception of mommy and me minis). For example, everyone wearing jeans and white shirts or crazy patterns, especially some stripes, they can photograph funny. Avoid super warm colors like orange or neons. When you're planning your outfit, think timeless. You're going to want to look back at these images and think, Wow, I still love these images, not oh no why did I wear that! I would totally recommend that you wear something you're comfortable in. It will show if your tugging or trying to suck it in.
WHAT TO BRING
I normally bring a blanket or things needed to sit down at the location we select. But if you have little ones bring their favorite toys.
Going back to the timeless thing, nothing too trendy, but hats and scarfs are welcome! I also strongly advise necklaces and bracelets. You know, the girly glam.
The 'style' of the session is totally up to you! I always say dress it up just a bit or put some effort into your outfits. Its not everyday you get your photo taken!
Do your makeup a little darker than your normally would. Eyeshadow and blush and bring your lip gloss! Glowing lips look romantic in those up close images.
Don't worry about it! We are going for the natural and casual VERY LAID BACK! Don't worry though, I will be giving you direction. You're going to want to keep it touchy feely, look at each other, cuddle up, play and interact! Sometimes you will think its silly but you will get your image and be like "oh my gosh thats so sweet, and we were just having fun"! Note to the dads, these sessions are often painless, fun, and totally worth it!
